When Demi Lovato had her overdose back in July, E! News reported that former BFF Selena Gomez was "very upset and emotional."
Now, while talking to Elle, Selena has confirmed that was true.
"All I’m saying is, I reached out personally," She said to the publication. "I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to. I… I love her. I’ve known her since I was 7. So…it’s…that’s what I’ll say."
While Selena didn't make any public comments about Demi at the time, her mum, Mandy Teefey did. Only a day later, she posted a throwback photo of the two girls writing, "This was exactly 10 yrs ago at S, Sweet 16. @ddlovato we love you. The world is a better place because of these infectious smiles. My heart hurts."
