American Horror Story: Apocalypse has officially aired, and one thing all fans can agree on is that this is the most exciting season yet. Why? Because it is a crossover between season 1: Murder House and season 3: Coven... arguably the two best seasons of the show.
But what the crossover ensures is that creator Ryan Murphy is going to extreme lengths to give the fans what they want: and that's EVERY old character making a comeback.
We mean, even Jessica Lange has agreed to return!
But one character nobody could have assumed would make an appearance in Apocolypse is the iconic, evil bad b*tch Chanel Oberlin from Ryan's other show Scream Queens.
Sure, we're used to Ryan putting us through major twists and turns with one actor playing various characters in the show, and weaving timelines from each season... but to bring a character from a WHOLE other show into the mix? Iconic.
Emma Roberts is already set to return to AHS: Apocolypse anyway, as her character Madison Montgomery from Coven. She's basically the witch version of Chanel, with their only difference being that one wears pink, the other, black.
So what makes us think that Ryan is pulling this off? Well, there's a photo here via Cosmopolitan that shows Emma Roberts on set of AHS, dressed to the nines in her Chanel best.
Further proof is that the stylist who worked on Scream Queens signed on to work on Apocolypse, which isn't that odd since both shows are run by the same people... BUT she posted a photo of a white, fluffy clutch that Madison Montgomery would never wear.
It is definitely appropes for a Chanel outfit though.
She captioned the pic, "She's back".
The best part? Emma's SQ co-star and sidekick Billie Lourd is also back for the season. Could we get her in Chanel #3's fluffy earmuffs returning to our screen too?
One can dream.
