Smith acknowledged in their thread that there will most likely be "mistakes and misgendering" by people who don't intend to be hurtful.
"But all I ask is you please please try," they said.
While Smith is opening up more and more with their sexuality and gender, they are not in a place to "eloquently speak at length about what it means to be nonbinary but I can’t wait for the day that I am."
Their intention right now is to be "VISIBLE and open."

Sam spoke about always having a bit of war within their body and their mind about how they define themselves.
"I do think like a woman sometimes, in my head. Sometimes I've sat there and questioned, 'Do I want a sex change?'
They continued: "It's something that I still think about... but I don't think it is. When I saw the word 'nonbinary'/ 'genderqueer' and I read into it and heard these people speaking I was like 'f*ck that is me.'
"Nonbinary/gender queer us that you do not identify in a gender, you are just you. you are a mixture of different things. You are your own special creation. That's how I take it. I'm not male or female. I think I float somewhere in between."
