The 32-year-old and his long-time partner Georgia Groome welcomed their first daughter in May. And, in his debut Instagram post, the Sick Note actor revealed her name: Wednesday G. Grint. Adorable!
“Hey Instagram… only ten years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint.”
In the pic, Grint sported a grey sports cap and black tee, seated in a velvet bright yellow armchair, while lil baby Wednesday wore a bright pink fleece jumper, her head cradled into her father’s chest.
Since the post went up yesterday, Rupert Grint’s Instagram has been followed by over 2.6 million people. The post itself has been liked by 2.3 million and over 88,000 fans have celebrated Rupert’s big news in the comments. Including, ofc, TikTok fave and Grint’s old Harry Potter co-star, Tom Felton. “Welcome Weasley, it’s about time,” he wrote in what we can only read in Draco Malfoy’s hoity-toity cocky tone. “Love to Wednesday xx”
Back in May, Daniel Radcliffe congratulated Rupert Grint on his first child in an interview with Watch What Happens Live.
"Yes, I texted him the other day. I'm so happy for him. It's very, very cool," he told host Andy Cohen, via E! News, adding, "It's also, like, super weird for me to think that we are all at the age where we are having children but we definitely are."
