In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the British actor revealed that he saw the sparks fly between Tom and Emma while on the set of the movies.
"There was always something," he said. "A little bit of a spark." He did, however, say that he didn't want his comments to "start anything," but there was definitely something there. "It was like any kind of playground romance," he revealed.
Tom recently shared a video of him and Emma on the set of the movies when they were just kids, which totally confirms Rupert's comments.
The pair played a game of red hands with Daniel Radcliffe there too.
"Champion #Slytherin" Tom captioned the video.
Emma commented on the post, "I'd like to point out that I did go on to win."
If that isn't some flirty banter we don't know what is.
The pair actually starting hanging out again in November 2018, after Emma split with her Glee ex-boyfriend Chord Overstreet.
A simple skateboarding date turned into something much more with the couple even going on a vacation to South Africa in August.
The throwback is one of MANY times Emma has been mentioned on Tom's social media recently.
While Emma has recently admitted that she is "self-partnered" which we assume is her fancy way of saying single, there is no denying that something is going on between her and Tom.
In 2012 Emma appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show, marking the first time she admitted she had a major crush on Tom when they filmed Harry Potter.
"Between the ages of 10 and 12 I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton," she confessed to Ross. "We love a bad guy, and he was a few years older and he had a skateboard and that just did it really. He used to do tricks on it. He was so cool. He totally knew [I had a crush]. And the thing is, he’d turn and go, ‘Oh, I see her in a younger sisterly way.’ And it just broke my heart, still does.”
Well, that's changed!
