Ruby Rose was lucky enough to become the face of iconic beauty brand Urban Decay earlier this year and has starred in several campaigns them in the past, but it's her latest one that's causing controversy and being labelled 'racist'.
Some fans of the label are questioning her latest shoot to promote the Basquiat collaboration, which borrows its name from Haitian-Puerto Rican artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The reaction has been mixed to say the least, because they used Ruby, a white model which is at odds with what Basquiat was outspoken about. He often questioned and satirised the western, mainstream representation of black people.
He was also highly against consumerism, so lending his name to one of the largest brands in the world is probably not something he would do if he was still alive.
What do you think about all this?
