She absolutely dragged Katy and all her new songs, causing the Katy x Taylor feud to spark up in Twitter all over again.
"Purposeful poop" to "bomb a petit" to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make 'Wit..I mean "fetch" happen," she tweeted.
Woah.
The lyrics do seem to point a lot to Taylor Swift, but regardless if she was dissing her or not, Ruby has now come out an apologised.
"Being mean doesn't suit me and leaves me feeling dirty. Truth is being mean leaves more leaks in your camp than the titanic and I get so triggered when I think bullies don't get held accountable and it makes me think I should say something.. but it's not place.
"I have always believed strongly that Karma exists and the truth always surfaces however I'm not good and I can't decide when or how that is.
"Clearly comes from being bullied in school & wanting to stick up for the underdogs. However I shouldn't stoop because then the msg is mixed."
As for Katy, and the song itself, she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to address the rumours.
Jimmy asked if the song was about anyone she knew, and in response she said, "I think it's a great anthem for people whenever someone's trying to hold you down or bully you."
She went on to explain that the message is "what this record is about. It's just like, 360-degree liberation. 'Chained to the Rhythm' was this political liberation. 'Bon Appétit' was this sexual liberation. And now, this, 'Swish Swish,' represents the liberation from all the negative that doesn't serve you."
That's that then... whether it's about Taylor or not, Katy is definitely sending some sort of message...
Her album Witness drops June 9.
