Lying on your resumé is wrong, but embellishing a few details isn't so bad is it? According to Robert Pattinson, if it gets you the chance of a lifetime you should just go for it! And turns out telling a couple porkies is how he got cast as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter!
Our handsome Hufflepuff has since admitted that he lied about his education to score the role of Cedric... in fact, he lied to score almost all of his early roles!
Rob's reasons that in the USA they couldn't ~really~ prove he didn't attend a prestigious university. He says: "I'd been unemployed for ages, and when I came to Los Angeles all the casting directors would ask what I'd been doing for the past few years. I'd say, 'Oh, I was at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art)' - if you've got an English accent you can get away with it. I'd say I went to Oxford, too. I did it for years."
