Yes, you heard it right.
There's going to be a new Riverdale spinoff series!!
So on Monday, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and CW President Mark Pedowitz spoke about developing an entirely new Riverdale series at the Summer Television Critics Association Press Tour Panel.
We're gonna get to see a whole other side of Riverdale!
The showrunners have let us know that they intend to make this series completely different from how we're used to Riverdale, so we should all be prepared for a very new vibe.
It's still early days, so plot line for the show hasn't been confirmed or announced yet, but we're going insane over the possibilities!
We could be seeing seeing Riverdale from the time of the parents, maybs even get a sneaky look into their own secrets?
Maybs we're gonna see everything from the views of the Ghoulies!
Or we could even have a look through the world as a secondary character.
A throwback to the highschool times of FP, Alice, Hermione and Fred, even?
This is all just too exciting.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has let us know that he's just as keen as we are, telling us, "“We’re really excited but we’re still early on in the process. It will be very different from Riverdale".
The show is projected to hit our screens late 2019 or early 2020.
For now though, we have Riverdale Season 3 to keep us entertained.
