Despite all the backlash the video has still been released and it comes complete with a full-on pash.
Yep, Cardi B and Rita Ora pash in a futuristic scene that looks like something straight out of Ready Player One.
Hayley Kiyoko originally slammed the song for containing “messaging that is just downright tone-deaf, which does more harm than good for the LGBTQ+ community.”
Rita although quickly released a statement after the backlash, saying the song "was written to represent my truth, and is an accurate account of a very real and honest experience in my life.”
Cardi B also came to the songs defence. She tweeted: “We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song, I personally myself had experiences with other woman, shiieeett with a lot of woman! I though[t] the song was a good song, and I remember my experience.”
