Prince Eric in 'The Little Mermaid' has been cast!

Well ladies and gents, we have found our Prince Eric!

After literally MONTHS of speculation, multiple reports are saying with 99% certainty that Jonah Hauer-King has been cast as the Disney prince.

After Harry Styles destroyed all our hopes and dreams by turning down the role, pretty much every handsome brunette in Hollywood has been thrown into the mix of potential 'Eric's'.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Jonah Hauer-King - the boyfriend of Stanger Things actress Maya Hawke - has been cast as Eric, and he looks PERFECT.

Jonah is a 24-year-old a relatively unknown British actor, who's been in a few small roles over the years.

We are kinda of loving that Disney chose an actor who not everyone knows, and Jonah really looks the part.

According to ET, Jonah had two screen tests for the role with the latest occurring on November 9 in London with the director Rob Marshall.

Other cast members include Halle Bailey as Ariel, comedic legend Melissa McCarthy as Ursual and zaddy Javier Bardem as King Triton.
