He explains, "basically after today, if we film in this house, you can face up to six months in prison because we need filming permits ... we're just going to have to vlog outside. If we want to film we need permits."
It doesn't come as a huge surprise, since Jake has found himself in the middle of a lot of drama lately.
Especially when his neighbours described having Jake as a neighbour was a "living hell".
"If the filming activity at the house were in commercial in nature, the city law requires that a permit be obtained for that activity," Film L.A. spokesperson Philip Sokoloski told Teen Vogue.
Jake seems to be taking the laws seriously, at the end of the video he says, "Alright Jake Paulers, this is news ... But we are going to respect the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Police Department."
Good move, Jake.
