The pair's relationship has been kept pretty quiet, however, now Margaret is planning on bringing Pete as her date to the Venice Film Festival to make their red carpet debut. The event is to celebrate Margaret's latest movie Seberg, which premieres at the festival on August 30.
Davidson has had a pretty up-and-down dating life over the past few years, with Ariana Grande ending their engagement following the death of her former boyfriend Mac Miller.
Grande recently spoke candidly to Vogue about the grief she felt following Mac Miller's tragic death, calling it "all-consuming."
"By no means was what we had perfect, but, like, f*ck. He was the best person ever, and he didn’t deserve the demons he had. I was the glue for such a long time, and I found myself becoming...less and less sticky. The pieces just started to float away."
Her relationship with Pete was what she describes as a "distraction".
"I met Pete, and it was an amazing distraction. It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him. I’m like an infant when it comes to real life and this old soul, been-around-the-block-a-million-times artist. I still don’t trust myself with the life stuff."
As for his break up with Kate Beckinsale reports claimed that they stayed "friendly" and the break up didn't come from their age gap.
A source told Page Six "the age difference wasn’t a problem for the pair."
Hopefully, Pete has better luck with his new relationship.
