Period emojis are finally here and BRING on the blood
Make periods normal again.
The Unicode Consortium has just announced that there are 230 new emojis coming!
YAAS!
But the most exciting news about this is that there will finally be an emoji commemorating your period.

The Global Girl's Rights Charity Plan International UK ran a survey in 2017 which found that girls and women are still feeling ashamed for having their period.
What a joke!
It was so bad that the stigma around periods was affecting their ability to talk to friends and family about it.

Periods are a completely normal way of life, so it's about time we get some real representation of them on something as regular as emojis.
