Brooke Blurton revealed to Bachelor Nick 'Honey badger' Cummins on last week's episode that she had been in past relationships with women. So naturally rumours began to swirl, linking her with other housemates - namely intruder Jamie-Lee Dayz, who reportedly identifies as bisexual.
“Most of the girls will say you get close to girls in the house and obviously, just because we have a tendency of being with girls, people will obviously put us in that category of liking one another," Brooke tells WHO.
“Jamie-Lee and I are definitely just friends," she adds. "I feel glad I actually had her there in the house.”
Speaking of her decision to open up to Nick about her past relationships, Brooke says she felt she needed to be honest.
“I was like, ‘I need to tell him. I want to be with someone who fully accepts me for who I am,’” the 23-year-old continued. “I felt pressure to come out – with the girls wanting me to tell Nick, but I wanted to tell him in my own time.”
Brooke says she was impressed with Nick's understanding and says other men have been intimidated by her sexuality.
“There’s always been a concern, because I don’t just like guys. I’ve dated insecure guys.”
