*WARNING! 'SPIDER-MAN:HOMECOMING' SPOILERS AHEAD*
If you've seen Tom Holland and Zendaya's Spider-Man: Homecoming film already, you'll know the ~major~ twist at the end, revealing Zendaya's character.
Although she went by "Michelle" the whole movie, at the end she revealed her friends call her MJ, alluding to her being one of Spidey's main love-interests, Mary Jane.
*The crowd goes wild*
Unfortunately, some people on Twitter weren't happy with the casting choice, as in the comic books Mary Jane is a red head, who is white.
Paris Jackson noticed the dramz, and came to Zendaya's defence replying to a tweet that read, "oh no god forbid they hire someone based off their talent instead of their skin colour" with, "unfortunately some people have to work harder to get recognition for their talent. sick world we live in. zendaya still slays as usual."
Of course, other fans defended the movie's casting decision too.
If you have yet to see Zendaya in the new Spider-Man, we HIGHLY recommend!
