During an interview with Music Choice, Liam was asked what his thoughts are about his bandmates new sounds.
"I heard the rest of the boys' debut songs. I heard, um, obviously Niall had 'Slow Hands' out and he had 'This Town' which is great. Niall's gone down the singer-songwriter route, which is pretty cool," he began.
"Harry's song I heard and, I'll be honest with you, it's not my sort of music, so it's not something I'd listen to. But I think he did a great job of doing what he wanted to do. That's the way I'd put it best, I think."
Really? Is it?
"He [Harry] doesn't really listen to hip hop music. It's like, my song's more 'Rack City' and his song is more of a different era to something I'd listen to, I guess."
K, why the shade Liam?
Just to sprinkle our own salt over this messy feast, we think that maybe Liam is feeling a bit nervous about his new song with how amazingly successful Harry's album has been.
But honestly, the comments just seemed unnecessary.
It also comes a day after Directioner's found out one of the lines in his song are a complete diss at his time with the band, so, you're not off to a great start Liam, and the fans are letting out on Twitter.
Yikes.
Although it's fine for something to not be your cup of tea... Mumma always told us if you ain't got nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
