Remember back when Katy Perry was a newbie, and she produced the absolute ~banger~ "I Kissed A Girl"??
It basically made everybody lose their minds, and sales of cherry chapstick went through the roof.
Now, all these years later, the flirty, cherry chapstick wearing girl that Katy pashed has ~finally~ been unveiled.
It was this chick:
During an interview with KTU’s Cubby and Carolina Show, the "Malibu" singer revealed that the 2008 track was inspired by her makeout sesh with K-Pez.
"When [Katy] came out with "I Kissed a Girl," I was doing the Hannah Montana movie, and I heard her on the radio. They said, 'Who did you write that about?' She said me! I screamed and started freaking out, and then she asked me to go to the VMAs with her. That’s when I started doing my whole VMA controversy. I was like, 'I’ll go with Katy Perry!' So that’s how we met and we just stayed friends."
She went on to gush about her famous bestie.
"She’s been a friend of mine for a really long time. We were actually just realising the other day that next year, we’ll have been friends for 10 years. I think that’s my friend that I’ve known the longest. Which is really, really weird."
Need more evidence that the song is about Miley?
How bou dis:
Katy Perry pashed Miley during her Bangerz tour, so the flirty friends are obvs down to kiss!
Well there ya go. Riddle solved!
