Prior to their whirlwind romance, the 25-year-old actress is known for her roles in the 2014 film Transformers: Age of Extinction, and the television series Bates Motel. Prior to her engagement to Beckham, she dated Anwar Hadid.
But Peltz, who grew up in Westchester, New York, also happens to be the daughter of American investor Nelson Peltz. Meaning that she is officially an heir to his billion dollar fortune.
According to Forbes, Nelson Peltz has an estimated net worth of $2.7 billion—which is even more than the Beckham family's reported $665 million worth.
Her father's firm, Trian Fund Management, has invested in companies like Tiffany & Co., General Electric and consumer goods corporation Procter & Gamble, where he sits on the board of directors. The company has almost $13 billion in assets under its current management.
Married for the past 35 years, Peltz's mother is former fashion model, Claudia Heffner, who made her own fortune through her successful modelling career, and has a current net value of approximately $7 million.
Nicola Peltz, along with her nine siblings, also own a 4,088 square metre property in Florida, that is worth approximately $134 million, and is where Brooklyn Beckham has been seen spending time. In addition to their Palm Beach home, Peltz's father reportedly owns a mansion in New York, and two private jets.
Her wealthy upbringing aside, a source close to David and Victoria Beckham have disclosed that they're content with their pairing, saying
: "David and Victoria have very much given this relationship their blessing".
"They have always been supportive of Brooklyn when he has had girlfriends, but this is one they really want to work," they revealed.
And as no further details have been released regarding Beckham's and Peltz's wedding, one thing's for sure—it is sure to be one of the most extravagant celebrations to date.
