But it seems like the same thing is happening with new couple Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra.
While rumours of the pair dating have been out for a while, they've only just started making it public.
But now... according to Indian magazine Filmfare, Nick will propose to Priyanka at the end of July... or early August.
Tha'ts VERY soon. Right now, Nick is in India meeting her entire family, and the whole proposal thing was something that he has come up with while on the trip.
Madhi Chopra - Priyanka's mother - met Nick on the trip, and told DNA India that "we just went out for dinner where Nick was present. But it was a large group. There were 10-odd people, so I didn’t get the time to know him that well. I’ve met him for the first time, so it’s too early to form an opinion."
Bollywoodlife also reports that Nick and Priyanka have exchanged Cartier promise rings.
