Now, Woman's Day report that the pair are ready to rekindle their relationship, after a jeweller admits that Nick designed a custom ring for Brooke before she walked out on him.
Nick's friend claimed: "He's a genuine guy and he didn't want to hurt any of the girls, most of all Brooke. When he realised she was the one he had true feelings for, he ended things with the other two and finally confessed to Brooke how he really felt!"
Kate Reid who works at Larsen Jewellery told the publication that "Nick was extremely enthusiastic about the design process with our team, wanting the ring to encompass the emotional and spiritual journey that he has been through during the show".
Right now, Nick escaped the country to do the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea, but apparently, he hopes to get back together with Brooke once he returns home.
Apparently, Brooke is "waiting" for him to come back, "so they can rekindle their romance".
In the pre-recorded interview for The Sunday Project over the weekend, Nick even admitted to Lisa Wilkinson that he felt the strongest for Brooke, and that she was "the one that got away".
"The eyes don’t lie," Nick confessed. "There was something left unsaid, there were a lot of emotions left swirling around. She got away in that regard."
We guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!
