Since fans haven't spotted Louis with his son in months, they were starting to speculate about many things.
Is he Freddie's real father? (Yep - #BabyGate will never die), or is he really the 'deadbeat' father Briana's family have made him out to be??
Well... all it took was prince Niall to come to the rescue.
While promoting his new tune "Slow Hands," Niall sat down with Billboard magazine and chatted all things One Direction.
Turns out Niall constantly hangs out with Louis and Freddie.
"I see Louis and little Freddie all the time. He lives around the corner from me [in Los Angeles]."
If Niall is constantly with them, then it's safe to assume that a). Briana didn't win the custody battle and b). Yes, it's actually his son.
It makes sense that maybe Louis doesn't want his son in the public eye so much, since when he was, it caused a lot more drama than necessary.
What else did Niall reveal in his interview?
Glad you asked!
It's pretty safe to say that if there is one member of the band that misses it the most, it's Niall.
"Every now and then you're like 'F*** hell, where is everyone?' You're sitting in an airport lounge, they call you for a plane, and you don't stand up initially because you're waiting on everyone else, you know? 'Oh, Louis will be back from the toilet in a minute."
CRYING.
It gets worse...
"I have loads of songs," he continued. "But now that I've heard what we've done, I realise the rest are sh**. Nothing I do will be as big as One Direction, but I have to try at least to get somewhere near it.
"I told my managers from the start: When One Direction comes knocking, f*** what I'm doing. I don't give a sh** if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for that."
Niall really is the real MVP.
Oh, and he revealed one more thing that might interest you lovely ladies out there. His idea girl.
"I think I got a type, anyway. Dark hair, dark eyes. Someone I can see as a friend. At the moment, I'm enjoying being 23. I only get one go at me 20s. I'd like to give it me best go. I'm happy to go home alone on a Saturday night, drink and watch football."
You do you Niel. You do you.
