Uh-oh.

Poor Trisha Malik – Zayn Malik’s mother – has found herself in a bit of hot water with Perrie Edwards’ fans, as they believe she brutally shaded her on Instagram.

After Trisha posted an innocent photo of flowers that Zayn and Gigi Hadid got her for her salon opening, fans started flooding the comments with a conversation about Zayn’s past relationship with Perrie.

The two called off their engagement over two years ago, which is like a million years ago really. But stans find it hard to #LetItGo.

So how did Trisha get involved? A fan noticed that she ‘liked’ a particularly salty comment about Perrie, that reads:

“Pls he broke up with her [Perrie] for a reason. Also ‘I think he knew she don’t love me’…says a lot. Also she basically admitted to never loving him and the way she’s been acting about him says a lot. And Gigi knows that Zayn needs support and praise bc of his anxiety. she’s always there for him and the way she talks about him with so much love and admiration while all P could say is to call [sic] Zayn a freak.”

We mean, she basically is agreeing with the comment by liking it, but hey, she’s here for her son and her son only!

Since the drama, Trisha has made her Instagram account private, but according to Harper’s Bazaar UK, she cleared the air by commenting, “I honestly don’t have anything against Perrie, I never have and I never will. This is the reason I don’t come on to social media, because everything you do always gets blown up into some big drama. I didn’t lke this comment, I must have pressed it by [sic] mistake when I was going through them, so please don’t say things about me that are not true.”

Dayum. The old deny ’til you die tick, but TBF, that ‘like’ button is pretty easy to press.

Anyway – point of the story is leave Trisha alone, she’s too cute to be bullied.
