Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid released an official statement last month, revealing to the world that they had broken up.
“Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years .. not only in the relationship, but in life in general,” she wrote. “I’m forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever’s meant to be will always be. xG,” Gigi wrote, while Zayn shared similar sentiments.
However now fans are wondering if the two are rekindling their romance.
Yesterday, Zayn was spotted entering Gigi Hadid’s New York City apartment.
Just recently, Zayn revealed how heartbroken the break up has left him. He even explained that Gigi was the girl he imagined spending the rest of his life with.
“I was in love — and I think that’s pretty evident,” he explained. “And yeah, I was aspiring to be in love with someone for the rest of my life and the rest of theirs, as we all do.”
Ouch.
So are they getting back together? Possibly! However, it’s also pretty possible that a) he’s only seeing Gigi to get some of his belongings, or b) he was visiting somebody other than Gigi who lives in the apartment.
We may never know.
