We still can’t get over the fact that Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have called time on their relationship after nine years, but now that the news is starting to sink in, we’re getting more and more info about why.

Us Weekly reported the news yesterday, saying that, “they are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup.”
Now another close source to the couple has revealed why they decided to break up.
“They’re just shooting on two different continents and it’s a matter of distance,” a source revealed to E! News. “There is no bad blood at all, and they have a lot of respect for each other.”
However, they also claimed that while the pair “are split for now” they’re “going to see what happens,” a second source told the publication.
The source continued: “They have such a history and deep connection they could find their way back to one another. Right now she felt like he needed to go and be single and see if that’s what he really wants.”
While it’s upsetting that they have decided to part ways, fans are now wishing, hoping and DREAMING that Vanessa reunites with her ex-boyfriend Zac Efron after all these years.
They’re both single!
Zac and Vanessa dated for roughly five years between the years 2005 and 2010. They met on the set of High School Musical where they played Troy and Gabriella.
Twitter went OFF when they realised that their romance could potentially kick off again.
