Earlier this week, famous beauty YouTuber NikkieTutorials came out to her fans about being a transgender woman, after claiming that she was being “blackmailed”.

It was a highly candid video that was followed by an abundance of praise. However, one person who doesn’t seem to be on the Nikkie train right now is Too Faced cosmetics co-founder’s sister, Dani California.
Dani California has been fired from the makeup company after changing her Instagram bio with the following transphobic comments:
“Transgender huh? That’s not the only thing she’s been LYING about.”
Wow.
Since the change, brother Jerrod Blandino has taken action.
“A message from Our Founder Jerrod Blandino,” read a tweet posted by the official Too Faced Cosmetics account.
“I would like to make sure it is understood that although I love my sister very much, the things she says or does have absolutely nothing to do with me and do not in any way reflect me, my opinions, thoughts, or feelings nor speak for me or Too Faced in any way shape or form.
“I have always stood for love, equality and kindness in my life and everything I do. I am sorry for the hurt she is caused.
“Let it be known that I am truly shocked and disgusted to my core at her recent actions. I do not tolerate this behaviour and she is no longer an employee of Too Faced.
“I would like to say how proud I am of Nikkie Tutorials, and how inspired I am for her strength and sharing her beautiful truth with the world. I am sending all my love to her.”
On Tuesday, Nikkie came out to her 12 million subscribers in a video titled “I’m Coming Out.”
“Filming this video scary, but it’s so liberating and freeing,” she said, whose real name is actually Nikkie De Jager. “I’ve been wanting to share this side of myself to all of you for so long but I could never figure out the timing.”
“Yes I am transgender,” Nikkie, “But at the end of the day I am me.”
During the 17-minute video, she went on to praise her mother, discussing her transition from when she was younger.
Over the 11 years, she has had a YouTube channel, Nikkie has wanted to open up about this very personal information, however, she wanted her channel to be more about her work and art.
Nikkie has already transitioned into the person she has always felt to be, starting the process when she was 7-years-old.
“I wanted the art to do the speaking for me,” she said. “From today on, you get me,” assuring her fans that from now on she will be more open.
Unfortunately, Nikkie was forced to open up to her fans earlier than she anticipated as she was getting blackmailed and was scared.
“I am free, and today I get to be me,” she said.
