A video showing what the pair have to deal with in a public place has just emerged, and it’s low-key terrifying.
The video shows fans who were able to trail the couple’s car as they went to The Weeknd’s show in São Paulo on the 26th, screaming and pressing themselves against the cars walls. Security guards had to drag fans off the car and one girl even falls down at the end…
The fan account run by @StunningSelenaMG noted in the caption of the video, “Was it your goal to put Selena and Abel in danger and make them crash?! We understand everyone wants to meet Selena but this is not safe for anyone.”
They also made clear that both Selena and The Weeknd suffer from anxiety. “Selena has stared she has anxiety & panic attacks and it’s a shame you guys would think it’s okay to mob and jump on her car. Abel also has anxiety so it’s really just sad. Are they not human beings?!”
Yikes.
Another video from the day before, the 25th, at the airport shows their bodyguards escorting the pair through extremely riled up crowds.
