The Weeknd definitely seems to be the more heartbroken one in the whole #Abelena break up, so especially since Selena got back together with Justin Bieber so quickly.
So it’s expected that Abel may be a little salty towards his ex-bae.
If unfollowing her off Instagram and deleting every photo of her off his profile didn’t prove that, then this jab on stage definitely will.
While The Weeknd was in Australia for his world tour, he said to the crowd: “I know this is like a long distance relationship here. But I feel like I’ll come to Sydney every year, at least once.
Fans believe that his comment was alluding to his long-distance relationship with Selena, before they ended things.
It’s very possible that Abel wasn’t at all referencing Selena with his comment at all, however fans are certain that it was a jab towards her.
Every fan of the pair knew that Selena and Abel weren’t living in the same city and had to work really hard to see one another during their time together.
