They may be sick musicians but as people, The Chainsmokers are kinda questionable (to say the least).
The “Closer” hitmakers have come under fire for making a racist comment during an interview in Japan.
In the now-deleted video interview, Alex Pall is asked if he’d bring his dog on tour with him.
“Well, I don’t know if I’d bring her to China,” he responds before erupting into laughter.

Yeah, nah. Racism is not funny.
But the band certainly seemed to think it was as they uploaded the video to their Twitter.

However, after noticing the backlash they were receiving, the boys removed the vid.
Chainsmokers really posted a racist video and then tweeted about how they wanted to hang out with bts https://t.co/RF99RuGMs0

The band have since issued an apology via Twitter.
“I made a comment in an interview about being hesitant to bring my dog, Cheddar, to China, because I have read reports about dogs being slaughtered in certain provinces,” the note reads. “We originally posted a video to share how much we love China and our fans there. We would never intentionally do anything to upset our fans and we apologize if we offended anyone.”
