Sam Cochrane is currently enjoying his time on the hit reality show, The Bachelorette, being the first contestant to snatch up a double delight rose – winning him two single dates with blonde beauty Sophie Monk.
However, Cochrane has a murder tragedy from his teen years that still haunts him.
The 31-year-old voice actor opened up to TV Week about how one of his friends was shot and killed at a party when he was 13.

Sam, who was not there when the incident took place, said it was a ‘really shocking’ ordeal for him.
He told the publication, ‘As a grown man now, I look back and think that’s not something a kid is supposed to be able to process.’
Cochrane admitted that the ‘brutal and raw’ tragedy has ‘stuck with him forever.’
