Fans lose it over the typo in Taylor Swift’s new merch

"Spelling is fun!"

Taylor Swift made it her prerogative to tell kids that “spelling is fun!” in her new song “Me”.

However… she may need to take her own advice!

Releasing a limited edition t-shirt from her merch line, fans noticed a pretty massive grammatical error.

The line from the song ft. Brendon Urie says, “You’re the only one of you, baby that’s the fun of you” is printed on the shirt, however, there’s a misplacement of an apostrophe, which turned you’re into your’e.

“EXCUSE ME!” one commenter wrote. “I’ve had this shirt for nearly a month and you’re telling me it’s had a typo THIS WHOLE TIME!!”

Weirdly, not all of the shirts have the typo, with some having the apostrophe in the right position.

This, of course, prompted many fans to believe that the error was there on purpose… secretly meaning something.

What could that ‘meaning’ be then? Well, another fan believed that those people who received the botched shirts would get special treatment.

“OMFG. Everyone with a typo on their pink ME! shirt is going to a secret session,” one fan guessed.

But, a typo can just be a typo…
