We’re hardly surprised that Taylor Swift has just earnt the title of most influential person on Twitter for 2018, because it’s Taylor freaking Swift.
When she talks, people listen.
Tay Tay only tweeted 13 times over the year, but social media analysis company Brandwatch notes that she’s at the top of this list.
Her “influencer score” was at 98 points (out of a possible 100), based on a variety of Twitter metrics, focusing on how many genuine engagement individual accounts created.
Following Taylor came Liam Payne, with a score of 97, while Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato and Donald Trump all tied with 96 points.
