Did you know that Stranger Things actor Charlie Heaton is a daddy IRL? ‘Coz we didn’t.
Charlie, who plays Jonathan Byers on the hit show, has a three-year-old son with ex-girlfriend and former bandmate of the Comenechi’s, Akikio Matsuura, The Daily Mail reports.
Charlie and Akiko became parents in 2014, and a source told the publication that although Charlie and Akiko aren’t together, they are on good terms for the sake of their child.
“Charlie became a dad when he was just 20. He met Akiko when he was just a teen and fell head over heels in love,” the source said.
“They’re no longer together but they have an amicable relationship for the boy’s sake. Right now Charlie’s career is his priority but he hopes to see more of his son once filming commitments calm down.”
