When production for The Lizzie McGuire reboot was shut down last week, we were scrambling for answers.

Now, thankfully, we have a replacement for original series creator Terri Minsky after she walked out as showrunner.
PEOPLE has reported that a new showrunner has a brand new vision for the revival… which might mean Sophie Turner?
Posting to her Instagram, the Game of Thrones actress raised her hand to play Miranda Sanchez, Lizzie’s best friend.
“Is Miranda appearing in this season? Because I’m here. I’m available. I am your new Miranda. Lizzie McGuire people, please reach out to me.”
Miranda was originally played by Lalaine before she left the show at the end of the series.
All the original members of the cast, including Lizzie McGuire’s mother, father, brother, Gordo and Ethan Craft have all confirmed to be reprising their roles, aside from Miranda. So hey… there’s an opening!
