On May 1, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas had the coolest wedding ever.
However, things weren’t as peachy as they seemed before they decided to elope with an Elvis impersonator.
In an interview with The Sunday Times, Sophie revealed that they actually broke up.
“It was the worst day of our lives,” she said about the day they broke up. “For a second we both had cold feet, then 24 hours later we were both like, ‘Never mind.’”
In fact, it’s not the first time they have struggled in their relationship.
“I was going through this phase of being very mentally unwell [when we first met in 2016],” she told the Times. “He was like, ‘I can’t be with you until you love yourself, I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself.’ That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”
What a power couple!
