Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have proven that you really can fall in love with a friend. In fact, it might just be the best relationship you ever have (Shawn – you’ve given friendzoned guys hope all around the world).

Now that they’re out and in the open with their relationship, Shawn has revealed what a typical date with his Senorita looks like.
During a fan Q&A at his tour stop in Kuala, Lumpur Malaysia, Shawn once again gushed about his girlfriend.
“Camila and I will basically wake up and find the nearest coffee we can find. She’ll have, basically, half a coffee and I’ll have three,” he said.
Cute.
We wonder if the demonstration makeout videos come before or after the coffee runs?
Other than coffee, the pair are major foodies.
“We’re always in different countries and cities when we hang out with each other so I don’t know what the– probably find some food and then we’d eat, and then like an hour later we’d be like, ‘are you hungry?’ and I’d like yeah.”
Relatable, except replace different countries and cities with fridges and pantries.
So… coffee, check!
Food, check!
What comes next to make the perfect relationship? You guessed it. Movies!
“She loves Tangled. She’s obsessed with Tangled.” Well, this explains why her dog is named Eugene Fitzherbert, Rapunzel’s husband (formerly known as Flynn Rider).
If you thought Shawn had finished then boy you were wrong. Once he starts talking about Camila he really can’t stop.
When a fan asked the singer about his favorite topic to talk about with Cami, he admitted that he loves to let her take lead.
“I don’t know. Camila is so good at coming up with random topics,” he said. “One time we were having dinner and she pulled out this phone and a list on this phone was like, ‘What would you do if it was the last day on Earth?'”
So cute.
Right now, Camila is gearing up to release her new album Romance, which will definitely be about how she fell in love with Shawn.
“It was inspired by… I was in my first serious relationship at the beginning of this album,” Camila told ITV recently. “That’s what inspired Romance and it being about falling in love. All of the stories are just my life and what’s happened the last two years.
“I’m so happy. I’ve known him for such a long time and I don’t know, he just feels like home to me. Yeah, I’m really happy.”
