It was only a few days ago that Shawn Mendes admitted he had no plans for Valentine’s Day… but things may have changed since then!
“I’m not currently dating anyone, but it’s not because I don’t have time — I don’t know if I’d be dating anyone if I was home in Pickering, either. It hasn’t stumbled across me, and I’m not chasing it,” he told Variety.
“Of course, seeing all those other artists and people in relationships, you think, ‘Maybe it would be nice; who would be great for me?’ And that’s when you realize: ‘This is wrong. Let it be. I’m not supposed to be with anyone right now.'”
WELL… something happened after he admitted this.
Back in 2013, Shawn tweeted out to YouTuber Andrea Russett asking her to be his Valentine.
Back then, Andrea didn’t respond. BUT NOW… she finally gave him an answer.
“ok fine! 
” she cheekily wrote.
Sure, this seems like fun, flirty banter… but maybe it could be more?!
We’ll just have to wait and see.
