Selena Gomez‘s mother Mandy Teefey has been hospitalised after she “flipped” out over her daughter’s escalating relationship with Justin Bieber, TMZ reports.
Police officials reportedly visited the 13 Reasons Why executive producer’s hotel in Los Angeles to check up on her after being contacted by a fam member who was concerned for her health.
Sel’s mother was then taken to hospital for treatment, with sources telling TMZ that her hospitalisation is related to a “heated” conversation she had with her daughter after finding out that she was in couple’s therapy with Justin.
The scary news follows rumours that Mandy isn’t happy about the “Wolves” singer reuniting with Justin.
Last week we reported that Selena’s fam haven’t invited Justin to celebrate Christmas with them.
“Justin’s family always loved Selena, but Selena’s family is still not happy about her seeing Justin,” a source close to the couple told People.
“Selena doesn’t bring Justin to any family events. Selena is spending Christmas with her family. As of now, Justin is not invited.”
