It’s been two long years since Selena Gomez released her last album, Revival and us Selenators have been waiting with bated breath for the follow up ever since.
Sure, she’s dropped a few bangers like “Bad Liar”, “Fetish” and “Wolves”, but we’ve been wanting, nay, CRAVING a full length album with loads of hits to add to our playlists.
And we’ve finally received the news we’ve been waiting for as Sel has just taken to Insta to assure us that she is working away at her next album.
The baben’ musician shared a ~dreamy~ pic from inside the studio and wrote:
“Currently. Until the next year. Here’s where I’ll be.”
In a recent interview, Selena explained that she has been working on the album for some time now.
“I want to get back in and re-focus on all of my music,” she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on Wednesday.
“To be honest, I feel like I have two albums already completed, but I’m wanting to figure it out. So it’s a lot sooner than I think people anticipate. I want to call the shots, I want it to be good, I want to be ready, I don’t want to do anything that’s forced. It will be soon.”
Be patient, fam. We’re almost there!
