It’s official, witches. Netflix has green-lighted the Sabrina The Teenage Witch series and we cannot freaking wait!
But is it true that the newly blonde Selena Gomez will star as the lead magic maker?
Hm, probz not.
The rumour started circulating last month after a tweet from @MusicNewsRumor claimed that Selena could potentially be playing the iconic character.
But in a new interview, queen Selena confirmed that the rumours are false.
“I love that! That’s new information for me,” she told BBC Breakfast when asked about the role.
“No, that’s a rumour. I’ve done my magic enough.”
As you’ll remember, Sel has had her fair share of spell casting as the loveable wizard Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place.
So it looks like we’re just gonna have to wait and see who gets cast as the teen witch.
We’re still here for Dove Cameron or Sabrina Carpenter, tbh.
But that’s just our opinion!
