Sarah Hyland has posed topless for a new Skin Transformed campaign with Olay.

The Modern Family actress shared the striking image via Instagram and explained the campaign will see her featured in a waterproof bath book as she continues to strive for progress and not perfection with her body.

“[The] #SkinTransformed campaign is all about celebrating the transformation of OUR own bodies, and how they are often works in progress…not perfection,” the 28-year-old wrote.

“Along with other fearless women, I will be featured in a waterproof bath book that you can enter to WIN!”

She continued: “These photos will always be such an incredible special reminder of this chapter of my skin story and I couldn’t be more thrilled to highlight my back and what it has meant to me as I have watched my body transform.”

Last year, the brave star revealed she had undergone 16 surgeries including two kidney transplants – after her first one in 2012 from her dad Edward James began to fail at the end of 2016.

The American star shared her many scars in a spread with Self and detailed her failed kidney transplant.

“We did all of these tests and all of these treatments to try and save the kidney, but they basically said that the transplanted kidney was like a house that caught on fire. You can’t unburn a house,” she said.

After undergoing several rounds of dialysis, in 2017 Sarah discovered that her younger brother, Ian was a match.

“When a family member gives you a second chance at life, and it fails, it almost feels like it’s your fault. And it’s not, but it does,” she tearfully confessed.

“When a second family member, someone, you’re supposed to look after, like a little brother, wants to give you a third chance at life, it’s scary, because you don’t want to fail them.”

Thankfully, Sarah has revealed she is healing well and doctors believe she has a good prognosis.
