It’s a sentence I quite literally never thought I’d write… but Ross Buter, aka walking angel, is being sued for murder.
What the f*ck?!
Okay, sure, all of my bias is coming from the fact that he just played the most redeemable character ever in 13 Reasons Why… but murder charges? How can this be?
It gets weirder when you hear who is involved: Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain… and her ex-husband Isaiah Silva.
Right, let’s break it down for ya.
Earlier this month, Frances Bean Cobain lost her father Kurt Cobain‘s MTV Unplugged guitar in her divorce settlement with Silva. He claimed it was given to him as a present. Sneaky bastard.
The guitar has been in his possession since March 2016, when they first separated.
Now, however, Silva is alleging that the guitar, and the drama surrounding it, is the reason why Courtney Love, Frances, ROSS BUTLER and a few others conspired to k i l l h i m, as court documents by People states.
The publication reports that Silva filed a civil lawsuit against Courtney and her manager Sam Lufti, private investigator John Nazarian, Yan Yukhtman, Michael Schenk and Ross Butler, claiming that they conspired to murder him to get the guitar back.
Lol, what?!
He claimed that a bunch of them, including Ross, committed “trespass, burglary, home invasion robbery, assault, battery, kidnapping, and murder” on June 3, 2016.
TMZ reports that Silva claims he was hurt during the time they entered his home, after they impersonated police officers at the door. He also claims that Lutfi grabbed him by his genitals and said, “Listen fa***t, calm the f*** down or we’ll drag you upstairs and take turns f****** you.”
Wow.
People also claims that the group then forced him into their car, and a friend who was at Silva’s house at the time reported the incident to the police.
Lutfi apparently then “hurriedly concocted a false story”. Silva also claims that Lutfi and Ross Butler helped get Frances and Courtney drugs, including “illicit benzodiazepines.”
In addition to all of this, he also claims that Nazarian and Schenk hurt his mother, “with the intent of terrorising and intimidating” him, and threatened his “7-year-old daughter Arlo, from a previous relationship.”
ALL OVER A GUITAR? WHAT IS HAPPENING?
According to TMZ, Silva is asking for unspecified damages.
