The Harry Potter universe is currently in mourning as Robert Hardy, the actor who played the head of the Ministry of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, has sadly passed away.
The star’s fam confirmed the news in a statement, saying that he had a “tremendous life” and “giant career in theatre, television and film spanning more than 70 years.”
He is survived by his three children who remember their late father as: “a meticulous linguist, a fine artist, a lover of music and a champion of literature.”
“Gruff, elegant, twinkly, and always dignified, he is celebrated by all who knew him and loved him, and everyone who enjoyed his work,” the statement read.
