Riverdale star Luke Perry has died at 52

We are so sad.

Riverdale and Beverley Hills, 90210 star Luke Perry has sadly died at age 52.

His passing comes less than a week after he suffered a stroke. According to his publicist, Perry was surrounded by his family and friends when he died.

“The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning,” his publicist said in a statement

Celebrities and Riverdale co-stars of Perry, who plays Fred Andrews on the show, have reacted to his death on social media.

“My heart is broken. I will miss you so much Luke Perry. Sending all my love to your family. ❤️ #LukePerry,” Molly Ringwald Tweeted.

Ryan Seacrest wrote: “Luke Perry was a great actor and truly one of a kind. Watching him on 90210 was one of the reasons why I wanted to move to LA. Thinking of his family and friends on and off the set. Rest in peace.”

In the statement, Perry’s publicist confirmed further details including that the actor was engaged to Wendy Madison Bauer, 44. Perry’s ex wife is Rachel Minnie Sharp who he was married to from 1993 to 2003 and has two children Jack and Sophie Perry.

Perry played Dylan McKay in Beverly hills, 90210 starring alongside Shannen DohertyIan Ziering, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green.
