We’re just gonna put it out there and say that Taylor Swift must F-ing hates radio DJs. Not only did she have to take one to court after sexually assaulting her, but now one has told her to shower.
Yikes.
In a recent interview with a radio DJ Greg James in Wales, he told her, “I think you need to have a shower now.”
Granted – she had just performed in high humidity to over 60,000 people at BBC’s Biggest Weekend festival – but still, not cool bro.
Taylor was a complete professional, smiling and laughing the joke off. “There’s a lot going on and none of it’s good here,” she said. Poor girl.
While Taylor didn’t necessarily seem offended by the comments, the Swifties were.
One fan tweeted, “I can’t not [sic] believe someone had the audacity to tell Taylor Swift to take a shower in her first interview in 2 years.THE NERVE.”
Another joked, “I hope everyone Is having a good day except the guy who interviewed @taylorswift13 and told her to take a shower SHE WILL LOOK BETTER THAN YOU SWEATY THAN U EVER WILL CLEAN.”
Greg later spoke up to say that there was no bad blood between he and Taylor, and that they’re old friends. “TS has a great sense of humour and we have known each other for ages and had a good catch up after the interview,” he tweeted.
“It’s all cool. It was hot up there. I almost said we should both for a shower but after this reaction I’m glad I didn’t!”
