In very sad news, over the weekend, 24-year-old YouTuber Nicole Thea has passed away. She was eight months pregnant with a son she shared with her boyfriend Global Boga, and the unborn baby also sadly passed away.
Thea’s family shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post. “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning,” the family wrote. The couple had hoped to be able to call their son Reign, and their social media profiles are filled with sweet images and videos of them getting excited for their son to be born.
The British YouTuber was known for her beauty, fashion and lifestyle videos and vlogs, having garnered over 80 thousand subscribers on the platform. Thea’s family have explained that the bubbly content creator had pre-filmed a few videos, and Boga has made the decision “to allow them to be aired.”
While fans are flooding both Thea and Boga’s Instagram pages with messages of support, sadness and shock, not much more detail is known at the moment.
Thea’s family asked for privacy in their post, explaining that “As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.”
We can only imagine what they’re going through and hope their pain eases.
