Rap music history (or any music history, for that matter) is filled with epic feuds between major artists and it looks like 2018’s arch nemeses have just emerged: Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.
An insider claims that Nicki is pissed that Cardi has taken over the rap scene and she is gonna do what it takes to reclaim her title as rap queen.
“Cardi B took over the scene and has been breaking all these records. Anyone in their right mind would be like, ‘I better step my game up.’ She wants to be on top. It’s friendly competition. It’s not a Remy Ma situation, but, Nicki definitely pays attention,” an insider told Page Six.
Minaj’s fandom recently launched a ‘Nicki Is Missing’ campaign after the rapper disappeared from social media but an insider claims that she did this ‘coz she’s working on new music and wants to create a buzz.
“She’s in the studio in Miami. She just had a private listening session with her managers. Drake and [Lil] Wayne are in Miami, too — hopefully all recording together,” says the source.
But the question is: will it be too late for her to fill the spot that’s been taken over by Cardi?
