One of our favourite celebrity friendships would definitely have to be between Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato.
No matter that Demi and Nick’s brother Joe dated for some while, these two have always remained super close… even going on tour together!
Earlier this year, fans speculated that Demi’s song “Ruin The Friendship” and also “Only Forever” were about Nick, or Selena Gomez. But a new interview with Noisey confirms that they’re most likely about Nick.
The publication point out all the references in the “Ruin The Friendship” that point to Nick being the person Demi is singing out.
“Put down your cigar and pick me up. I’m thinking we should cross the line. Let’s ruin the friendship.”
Apparently, Nick is well-known lover of cigars.
Demi even explained that with the song, she was “frustrated with a certain situation.”
“And I was like, ‘You know what, I’m just going to write about it.’ And so I did, and sent [the songs] to that person, and that was… interesting,” she explained.
“Any time you send a song about the person, to the person, it’s ballsy. It’s like, ‘Hey! Here’s my feelings for you!… They knew [about my feelings], but neither of us had acknowledged [them] before. And then it turned out that person had written a song about me, and we exchanged songs.”
Zomg.
Does this mean Nick was totally feeling the same things back for Demi? Fans need answers.
There has been no real confirmation from either Demi or Nick, so it’s important to take this with a grain of salt, no matter how many signs point to it being true.
As for Demi, she has also been recently linked to her new supposed girlfriend Lauren Abedini.
