ICYMI: Niall Horan‘s Flicker Sessions World Tour is currently sold out (although YOU could win the chance to meet him by entering here).
But, regardless of his high in demand shows, Niall doesn’t believe he will ever reach the same level of fame as he did while with One Direction.
*sobs*
“I know that anything I do, and all of us are like that, anything I do is not going to be as big as One Direction – ever,” he told the Irish Sun. “No matter what, or how hard I try.”
NOT TRUE NEIL, NOT TRUE!
“But I’m just a music lover, and I just try and give my money’s worth to people and give their money’s worth back to them and just have a laugh,” he continued.
Niall has probably been the most vocal about getting the band back together, even admitting that he would drop everything and anything with his solo music if it meant the chance to be with the boys again… but he knew he would one day go down the solo road…
“I always knew that I would write and that was the whole initial idea to just go into the studio and start writing again and start writing at home just to keep my mind ticking over and for the love of it. And then it came about after a few songs. I played them to my management and they were like, ‘You shouldn’t be giving these to anyone, we should make an album as they are.’ So here we are.
“We have to just wait until everyone’s ready to go again, we’ll go again,” he added. “It’d be nice to think that we stopped at a high point, it’d be nice to pick up from there.”
BRING BACK 1D!
