The highly anticipated flick was initially slated for a November 2 2018 release but after recently reshuffling its release schedule, Disney has opted to push it back to March 27 2020.

Annoying, right?

Anyway, here’s what we know so far about the flick.

Based on the ’90s cartoon, the film is being directed by critically acclaimed director Niki Caro.

“The budget and the location and the story [are] offering such scope to me for [an] incredible, muscular piece of girly martial arts extravaganza in China. And I can’t wait,” Caro said in March. “I’ve got my little girl, she’s 9,” the filmmaker added. “We’re going to start learning mixed martial arts in preparation.”

Don’t be too disappointed, fam. We’re sure the movie will be worth the wait!
